Colours of Africa: EGYPT

11th January 2013 – 15th February 2013

Mon-Sat. 10am-7pm;     Sun 11am-7pm

CORT      Powiśle 11,   Kraków

Partners of the exhibition: Municipality of Kraków and Kraków Festival Office.

The exhibition at the bookstore Czuły Barbarzyńca in Kraków is the result of one of the first projects undertaken by the Foundation M-Art: International Painting Convention “Colours of Africa: Egypt”.

Artists from different parts of Poland were invited to participate in the event (including Stanisław Gnacek, Danuta Krakowiak, Janusz Łozowski, Maciej Dobosz from Kraków).
They made sketches and designs (during their stay in Egypt) from which later became the exhibited works.

The exhibition carries one of the key objectives of the Foundation: to establish and reinforce artistic ties between the Kraków and other artistic circles in Poland and abroad, in particular from the twin cities.
