October is going to be full of so many various music events in Kraków that everyone can find something for themselves.
8 October – Apocalyptica in Łaźnia Nowa theatre
The Finnish metal band from Helsinki is promoting their new material the 7th Symphony. Originally a Metallica tribute band, their music borrows elements from a wide variety of genres including classical music, metal, post-grunge, hard rock, progressive. They also incorporate some influences from Middle Eastern music, world music and folk music. They have sold over four million albums to date.
11 – 18 October – Unsound festival in ICE Kraków
Unsound Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Kraków, dealing with evolving and mutating forms of music, as well as related visual arts. Some of the festival’s events will remain secret until their premier – tickets will be available only at the door!
13 October – Opera Rara in ICE Kraków
the Armonia Atenea ensemble under the baton of George Petrou will present Johann Adolph Hasse’s forgotten opera Siroe to the audience in the Theatre Hall of the ICE Kraków Congress Centre on the 13th of October at 8 p.m. The concert in Krakow will feature the performance of outstanding soloists, including Max Emanuel Cenčić, Julia Lezhneva, Juan Sancho and Mary-Ellen Nesi.
17 October – MUSICAL „METRO” in Kraków Arena
Studio Buffo and the Royal Concert invite you to the most famous Polish musical! A fascinating story about dreams, passion and betrayal is one of the most known and cult music events in Poland and a must – see!
30 October – Chriss Botti in ICE Kraków
Chris Botti – winner of the Grammy Award will come back to Poland this autumn. As he mentioned in the interviews: “Polish audience is the best in the world” – American smooth jazz trumpeter will play a series of concerts in our country – and one of them in Kraków!
