HOW TO GET THERE
Nothing easier than that! There are several buses throughout the day departing from Central Bus Station (only 10 minutes away from our hostel!), first ones leaving as early as 4:25 in the morning. There is a bus heading to Zakopane approximately every 15 minutes, and the entire ride takes about 2 hours.
KRUPOWKI STREET
Take a walk along the main street of Zakopane. Enjoy the wooden buildings, get yourself some warm and cosy woollen socks or try traditional Polish mountain smoked cheese!

GUBAŁÓWKA
If you want to see the astonishing panoramic view of Polish Tatra Mountains but don’t feel like hiking – don’t worry! There is a cable car available, waiting to take you to the top of Gubalowka. The cable car runs everyday between 9 and 18, and the cost is only 22 PLN both ways.

HIKING
If you feel like hiking and the weather is not being a trouble, go ahead! Zakopane lays right next to Tatra mountains which offer a wide range of hiking routes. From pleasant and easy ones to more demanding and exciting. Most of the more popular routes takes about 2-3,5 hours to pass. The most known and recommendable destinations are Dolina 5 Stawów, Morskie Oko and the highest summit of Polish mountains – Rysy.
